A place to go fishing and is dog-friendly

David Terry Park is a part of the David D. Terry Lock and Dam, located on Damsite Road. The park has five recreational areas that are ideal for fishing, where residents can catch Largemouth Bass and Blue Catfish. The Wildlife Observation Trail, which is directly behind the Little Rock Audubon Center, is a 1.2-mile loop that offers views of downtown Little Rock. There are also benches and a picnic area with a fire pit. The park is dog-friendly; however, they must be leashed.

Three state champion high school

Students living in Sweet Home can attend College Station Elementary, which has a C-minus rating from Niche.
