While Temecula maintains several diverse parks, Flint notes that opportunities for outdoor recreation surpass city limits. "No matter where you're living in the city, you're a 10, maybe 15-minute drive from mountains and lakes," he says. "Chardonnay Hills is only 20 minutes from the Santa Rosa Plateau, which has great hiking."
