There’s a restaurant here, a golf course and clubs that people can join if they want to. It’s truly up to a personal selection.”

Single-family homes and townhouses at the Todd Creek Golf Club
Streets with single-family homes and townhouses loop around fairways and branch into cul-de-sacs. Home prices are impacted by the residence’s proximity to Smith Reservoir and views of the golf course and the Rocky Mountains. New traditionals have farmhouse elements, including front porches with room for a bench and a neutral-colored exterior. These home prices can range from as low as $505,000 up to $1.2 million. Contemporary Craftsman homes have square columns and mixed compositions of stone and paneling on the exterior. While these single-family homes can cost $600,000 to $625,000, nearby townhouses with Craftsman influence range from $475,000 to $640,000. Exterior maintenance, snow removal and trash are services supported by $300 quarterly assessments paid to the Heritage Todd Creek Master Association. An additional payment of about $195 is due quarterly to the Metropolitan District.

Todd Creek Golf Club’s links and community clubs and groups
The neighborhood clubhouse caters to various hobbies, from the indoor pool and hot tub to activity-specific rooms for crafts, billiards and fitness. Over 50 clubs and groups use the clubhouse; some play Mah Jongg, and others discuss shared interests such as books. The surrounding fairways are part of Todd Creek Golf Club’s 18-hole public links course. “When the weather's nice, you'll see people just using their golf carts as the means of transportation around the community. We’ll drive the golf carts to the clubhouse if we’re playing tennis, going to somebody’s house for lunch or to play cards,” Gilbert says. “The weather is very tempered. We get cold weather and snow, but we probably have more sunshine than most places.”

Traveling E-470 and through the Denver area
Extension 470, locally known as “E-470,” is a toll road connecting the neighborhood to Interstate 25 and U.S. Route 85. Both roads lead to Denver, nearly 25 miles to the south. State Route 7 runs through the neighborhood’s northern region and connects it to Brighton, about 5 miles away. Brighton has a downtown lined with local businesses and restaurants. The Denver International Airport is nearly a 20-mile drive east along E-470 and has numerous international and domestic flights.

It features a weekly rotating menu of American-style entrees. “Once every couple months, they will also have a special dinner, usually a lovely candlelight-type dinner with special foods.” Nearby, The Orchard Town Center is an outdoor shopping and dining district, with restaurant chains and national retailers ranging from Target to Macy’s, about 8 miles west. Locally owned restaurants in the district include Windfall Brewing Company and Asti D’Italia, where Tuscan influence is carried from the décor to the food. King Soopers is less than 3 miles away, and Costco is about 7 miles away.
The Orchard Town Center is conveniently located at the intersection of I-25 and 144th Avenue.
