Dozens of extracurriculars at Horizon High School
Tarver Elementary School lies on the east side of Signal Creek and earns a B grade from Niche. “You have highly ranked public schools on this side of town, which draws in a lot of families with young kids,” says Hernandez. Century Middle School receives a B-minus and has around 30 extracurricular offerings, including clubs centered around hiking, fashion and aviation. The A-minus-rated Horizon High School is a short drive east and offers three career and technical education programs, including Business and Marketing, Family and Consumer Sciences and Computer and Digital Technologies. The high school also has over 40 school and student-sponsored clubs.
