Large school with a diverse student base. Lots of resources and generally good teachers. Art teacher was bad. Routinely removed students (transferred to an alternative school) if they were deemed unlikely to graduate.

I loved my time at Horizon. I did things that made me uncomfortable but those experiences helped me to grow and have an amazing time. Teachers and other admin knew me by name even though I had never been in their office before.

I would say my experience with this high school is overall pretty good. There isn't any major things to stand out, but the people are very kind and caring. The best parts are probably the people that are there and the worst part is the amount of homework that we get on a daily basis. And the changes I would like to see are probably having slightly less homework so then I can work on other stuff than just schoolwork.

The Special Education program at this school is terrible because of the special ed gives a shit about kids and actually helping them out when they need it all they do is sit there saying they care when they could care less if your kid is helped. A family member of mine got violentlt attacked here during an off hour and kids took videos. The school is backing the bully. If you love your child-do not send them here. This school is disgraceful.
