Willow Bend’s residential streets are close to shops and parks
Willow Bend is a Thornton neighborhood about 20 miles north of Denver with sidewalk-lined residential streets. Local thoroughfares connect the neighborhood to shopping centers and malls, and various nearby highways tie it to Denver. “Willow Bend is an attractive option due to new homes, good schools and community amenities,” says Realtor Neelam Shrestha with RE/MAX Northwest, who has over 22 years of experience. “Quiet streets, new parks and trails make it ideal for raising kids.”
Multistory Lennar homes with Craftsman influence
Lennar began building multistory New Traditional, Prairie-style and contemporary homes in Willow Bend in 2018. Many exteriors have Craftsman features, including front porches with square columns and natural stone accenting neutral painted panel siding. “Lennar home basic models get everything like granite countertops and don’t need to be upgraded right away,” Shrestha says. New Traditional home prices range from around $600,000 to $970,000, and contemporary homes have a similar range of approximately $590,000 to $840,000. Prairie-style homes are in the middle of the range and go from roughly $700,000 to $790,000. The CAP Index Crime Score in Willow Bend is 1 out of 10, lower when compared to the national average of 4.

The high school has a Career Technical Education (CTE) Center on campus with course pathways including engineering, media arts and business.
Parks, athletic facilities and Trail Winds Recreation Center
Neighborhood sidewalks lead to a park at Willow Bend’s center, which includes multipurpose fields, a basketball court and a playground. Trail Winds Park is nearby with a skate park, open space with paths and football and soccer fields. Adjacent to the park, Trail Winds Recreation Center includes fitness areas and a lifeguard-monitored pool area with slides and a lazy river. Springvale Park has a disc golf course with paths that pass through a tunnel and connect the park to Marshall Lake Park, where a playground overlooks Marshall Lake.
Restaurants, The Orchard’s shops and Denver Premium Outlets
Hilltop Village shopping center has a King Soopers and national fast food restaurants, such as Wendy’s. The locally owned Doug’s Diner is also in the shopping center, serving breakfast and lunch to tables indoors and on its patio. The Orchard Town Center is an outdoor mall with department stores, an outdoor play area and an AMC movie theater. Nearby restaurants include The Happy Sumo, which serves sushi and Japanese cuisine. Asti D’Italia serves Italian classics in its dining room and offers carryout. The Denver Premium Outlets mall is also close by.
Access to E-470, Interstate 25 and St. Anthony North Hospital

Downtown Denver is accessible via I-25 as well.
