Livingston Park

Tulsa championship golf haven
Even golfers outside Tulsa know Southern Hills Country Club: The course is ranked No. 47 in the world, and it has hosted the PGA Championship a record five times, most recently in 2022. Founded in 1935, the club recently underwent a $19 million upgrade to give the course a more natural feel for the modern game. The club also added 12 tennis courts and a pool complex, along with a health and wellness center. “It is one of the country’s premier golf clubs, and most residents who live in the area are members,” DeWeese says. On the eastern side of the neighborhood, LaFortune Park hosts two 18-hole public golf courses welcoming players of all skill levels. The 270-acre park also features a 3-mile trail, tennis courts and 11 ponds stocked with fish.Fairway views and contemporary ranches with aesthetic touches
Various types of contemporary ranch-style homes are scattered throughout the neighborhood, most on wide lots with an abundance of greenery. Homes typically run between $200,000 and $400,000, with larger estates near Southern Hills fetching higher prices. Many of of the homes were built in the 1970s and onward, including extra features like pergolas, koi ponds and back decks overlooking spacious, fenced-in yards. “The larger, treed lots are a big attraction for the area,” says Carrie DeWeese, Realtor for Chinowth & Cohen. “These homes have increased in value with time.” For a lower price point or an opportunity to downsize, the neighborhood also has a number of condominium complexes where prospective residents can buy a unit for anywhere between $50,000 and $150,000.Suburban Tulsa cuisine
The KingsPointe Village mall sits just north of the neighborhood and hosts a number of shops and restaurant. A new addition is Red Door Grille offering southern style cuisine with a cajun twist. Enjoy their take on chicken and andouille sausage gumbo and shrimp étouffée. At McGill’s find prime steaks and seafood at a Tulsa establishment in operation since 1990. The neighborhood is also close to a Walmart Neighborhood Market 3 while a Walmart Supercenter and Sam’s Club are available at Woodland Hills Mall, the city’s biggest shopping center with more than 150 stores taking up over one million square feet.Jenks Public Schools
Most students begin at Jenks West Elementary School, moving on to Jenks East Intermediate School and Jenks High School, located across the Arkansas River. All three schools received grades of an A-minus or better on Niche.com. The district lies four miles south of the neighborhood and offers extensive career preparation services and access to a renowned athletics department. Oral Roberts University also sits west of Livingston Park where residents can take advantage of more than 70 undergraduate programs on the sprawling 370 acre campus.Quick commutes to downtown Tulsa
Residents can commute downtown by car via Yale or Harvard Avenues, hooking up with US-64. Tulsa is also well served by MetroLink Tulsa bus service with stops right in the neighborhood.
