It's about a 45 or 50-minute trip to San Francisco," Messina says. There are accessible shopping and dining areas along Springs Road. The Solano 80 Shopping Center has a Cardenas Market with Mexican products about a mile west. Safeway is also nearby on Lincoln Road. The Joy of Eating Café is a local diner that looks like a time capsule from the 1960s, serving classic breakfast dishes and homemade bread. Downtown Vallejo is about two miles west, with additional eateries like Bambino’s Restaurant, a live music bar serving calzones and Italian dishes.
