Small town with growing popularity
Veneta is a small town outside of Eugene that’s steadily growing in popularity thanks to its impressive collection of stunning green spaces. “It’s an outlier community and the main thoroughfare from Eugene to the coast cuts right through it so it’s pretty heavily trafficked,” says Gabe Phayt, who has worked in the neighborhood for 10 years and currently works at the Fern Ridge Library. “It’s a nice little spot and a great confluence of rural living meets a bohemian hippy vibe. It draws people from all over and creates a nice little melting pot of different sorts of people all mixing together to make an interesting little community-oriented town.”
