Though no major roads go through the neighborhood, it’s easy to get around with Interstate 680 and two BART stations a few minutes away. “Traffic is not bad here, and the weather is beautiful,” Burkhart adds.

Newly renovated Boundary Oak Golf Course
Carriage Hills is home to a public park and minutes from golfing and hiking opportunities. Arbolado Park spans nearly 27 acres and has soccer fields, tennis courts and a playground. Since 1969, the public has come to the 18-hole Boundary Oak Golf Course to practice, play tournaments and learn the game. Its newly renovated driving range will reopen in 2025. Hiking and biking trails wind through the grassy knolls of Walnut Creek Open Space and Lime Ridge Open Space. However, poor air quality in the region is possible because of topography, wind and vehicle emissions.
The newly renovated driving range at Boundary Oaks offers an upgraded experience for golfers.
