A Dallas County community in a historic, country setting
Positioned along Dallas County’s northern edge, the small city of Woodward has historic buildings that recall its coal-mining history, high-mark schools and midwestern charm in a quiet, rural setting. “This is a bedroom community with a small-town feel. There is only one school district, four or five local businesses on Main Street and bike trails,” says Wayde Burkhart, associate broker at Realty One Group Impact with 8 years of experience.
The High Trestle Bridge is featured on Woodward's water tower above the park.
Ranch-style housing is still the most common style found in Woodward.
