Wright City offers a quiet lifestyle between Warrenton and Wentzville

Halfway between Warrenton and Wentzville, Wright City is a community of about 5,700 prized by residents for its location and real estate value. “You get more bang for your buck, especially if you’re a first-time homebuyer,” says Angie Harness, a Realtor with Keller Williams Chesterfield who’s served the area since 2017. “You can get a newer, nicer home for much less than some surrounding areas.” The city benefits from easy access to nearby shopping, entertainment and jobs while retaining a serenity that’s difficult to find in larger cities. “It’s more peace and quiet – the sort of place for people who want to get away from the hustle and bustle and traffic,” says Kathy Burks, a Realtor with Nettwork Global who’s served the Greater Saint Louis area since 2018. “It’s so crowded in other places. People here are looking for more of a country life.” The CAP Index Crime Score in Wright City is 2 out of 10, lower than the national average of 4.
