Saw Mill River Parkway takes commuters into New York City in under an hour, while the Fleetwood train station, 2 miles away, takes 37 minutes on the Harlem line. “Whether you are in Dunwoodie or Lawrence Park, you’re close to the train,” says Annechiarico. “In Dunwoodie, you’re close to Fleetwood, Bronxville or Tuckahoe. All train stations lead to Grand Central.” Several popular roadways, including Interstate 87, border Dunwoodie. Medical care is 3 miles away at NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester using the Bronx River Parkway. Interstate 87 leads 15 miles to LaGuardia Airport and goes under the Cross County Parkway, which divides the neighborhood in half and leads to the Cross County malls. To travel throughout Yonkers and Westchester County, Bee-Line bus stops are along Yonkers and Midland Avenue.
