TerraBella is a walkable, new construction community in Covington, Louisiana, on the Northshore of Lake Pontchartrain in St. Tammany Parish. It sits north of I-12, close enough to New Orleans and Mandeville for an easy commute, but built around its own town center instead of relying on someone else's.

TerraBella follows Traditional Neighborhood Development, also called New Urbanism, planned by town planner Steve Oubre and built out by Boh Bros. Construction Company. Homesites step up in size as they move out from the Town Square, and no home sits more than an 8-minute walk from it. The community has picked up recognition over the years, including a spot as a 2010 Southern Living Idea House location and multiple Northshore Home Builders Association honors.

Architecture in TerraBella mixes Classical, Creole, Acadian, Northshore, and Bungalow styles, so the streets don't read like one floor plan copied block after block. Front porches face sidewalks. Streets are golf cart accessible. Fiber-optic broadband runs through the entire community, residential and commercial.

TerraBella runs a resident event calendar on the Town Square year-round, from live music and art walks to seasonal celebrations like Pumpkins in the Park and Christmas at TerraBella, so the neighborhood stays active outside your own front door.
