A tucked-away neighborhood in the heart of West Omaha
“Quiet, secluded, and tucked away: That’s Crescent Oaks,” says Marla Alberts, Realtor with BHHS Ambassador Real Estate. “But the homes hold their value, and when one comes on the market, it does not last long.” This small, triangular-shaped neighborhood of 530 homes is surrounded by great schools, nearby shopping and restaurants in every direction, but it’s carefully hidden between West Center Street and South 144th Street.
Developed between 1980 and 1995, Crescent Oaks is about 15 years younger than neighboring Harvey Oaks. Changing times and cultural trends created a demand for smaller, high-quality homes. Newer homes with just three and four bedrooms were hard to find, and Crescent Oaks filled that void. Consistent with its secluded yet suburban location, the neighborhood has an overall CAP Index Crime Score of two, which is lower than the national average of four.
