Paradise is a small Wise County community on the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex’s outskirts, where wide-open skies, quiet streets and a strong sense of local pride shape everyday life. Each year, two events—September’s Main Street Festival and December’s Christmas in Paradise—bring residents together downtown. Though rural and very car-dependent, the town’s spot along Highway 114 makes regional commutes to Bridgeport (~6 miles away), Decatur (~10 miles away), Fort Worth (~40 miles away) and Dallas (close to 70 miles away) straightforward.
