The 36 ft long gallery hallway starting at the front foyer and ending at the master bedroom at the end of the condo has a unique curved vaulted ceiling and newer light fixtures. It's very special that there is a big sunroom in the front with sun all day long from the east/south/west exposures PLUS another sunroom at the other end of the condo with east/north/west windows. Glossy red front loading washer and dryer are in a closet in the hallway for easy access. Located at the edge of the historic Kenwood Mansion District, it is just a few blocks from the Metra & express bus to the Loop and the Whole Foods and Marshall's. The University of Chicago Campus bus stops at the corner, & the Lakefront is an easy walk or roll away. In fact, it's easy to bike throughout the neighborhood. Trader Joe's is just a few more blocks away and Binny's is in the opposite direction about the same distance north. It has a very walkable and very bikeable WalkScore.
