The Jefferson bought the church in the early 1900's for expansion, and the pews were later purchased, dismantled, and used for the kitchen cabinets in this home. The wood floors are from the old VCU girls basketball court, The circular stairway was hand built by the owner and the original staircase was removed years ago. The two chandeliers that hang on the second floor, as you look above your head as you enter the home are solid copper, and hung from the mezzanine of the old Loew's theater before it was renovated ( Carpenter Center, now Dominion Energy Center) that was built in 1928.
