I am a hard woman to please, just to start off, my husband and I also are a 1st time home buyer. I lived in Pa and wanted to relocate to VA but somewhere near water (beach). I literally did no research said a prayer and looked at pictures of realtors and Denise Hawkins Picture jumped out at me. A friendly big smile beaming eyes, why not call. Denise picked up the phone with in 3 rings and my journey began. BTW Denise returns every call, email, text, smoke signal in a very timely matter. I had no idea what we were in for. Told Denise what type of house, budget, area, water view, close to beach, neighbors not too close, fence in yard for my English mastiff, garage, 2 bathrooms...etc...not too big of a bill to fill---hahahha---. After a 3 weeks of looking at house online per my parameters we were ready to go to Virginia and meet with Denise. I only had about 2 days to look because of work schedules. Denise picked us up at the hotel and off we went. Denise after several conversation really got to know my taste better than me. She added a house to our list the 1st day that we never saw online. She suggested we look at it has a water view, .7 miles from beach and a lovely neighborhood. Ok, that is was my journey. here is what you need to know about Denise Hawkins. She does not mix her words; she tells it like it is.( which is great when she knows the area and you do not), Denise goes above and beyond for her clients, always returns your messages within 24 hrs, always so cheerful and positive (not phony, 100% real), she always has "a guy" for landscaping, painting, driveway etc. I have used her team they are great! She has a great network of people around her from mortgage to lawn cutting service. I did not find anything lacking in Denises work ethic or performance. With this all said, I BOUGHT THE HOUSE. Denise made it so simple that we did it all from our old house in PA. I have been in our home for a week now as i write this. IT STILL FEELS like I AM ON VACATION..... LOVE DENISE HAWKINS!!!!! I will use her again...if i move but i love it here.....Thanks Denise!

We recently had the pleasure of working with Denise to find a rental in Va. Beach. We were selling our home for an oversea relocation. After 5 months on the market and only a few visit, our first agent was proposition less... excepted decreasing the price again.
5 days before our relocation flight, we decided to switch to Denise, who was recommended by friends. What a change.
First, Denise says the previous price was Ok, and on the current selling market, the home must have been sold in few days. Reviewing the previous listing, she pointed the pro and cons, and proposed to do some few fix and staging pictures. In addition, she helps us to do all necessary step to be able to sell the home without being physically there. The previous agent never even mentions these steps.

Result is when Denise listed back our home, it was sold full asking price on the first day... (same listing price as before) yeah...,

Thank you Denise. Really, she is a pro knowing what she is doing, and based on my experience with her, I can only recommend her.

Denise is the best realtor out there people. Hear me out on this one you will not be disappointed. Ms. Hawkins is friendly, kind, funny and caring, everything you could want and more in someone who is helping you find the home you want. I worked with several realtors over the years, with okay credit it's not always easy to purchase a home. After being told I needed to wait a bit longer which turned into 4 more years of renting and paying for unnecessary credit repair and still no house I became frustrated. I went to a Open house and Denise Hawkins was right there. She showed us around although it was out of our price range we just knew we had to work with her. We spoke we let her know our concerns trying to buy a home and she made it so easy. My husband and I were pre approved same day 30 minutes after meeting her within a week we were looking at homes. I am now in my new home for 1 years and my family and I are so happy. We pay less now with a home vs Renting. I can honestly say if you think you can't be a homeowner think again. Denise was highly recommended to my spouse by his co-workers when we decided to put our house on the market. Denise came in and gave us a realistic assessment on what to expect and how to accomplish a successful sell while also buying. She was very honest and very professional from the very beginning and also helped us put together a plan to get our house ready. She sent in her experts to consult on repairs and such. All her recommended contractors were highly quality and reasonable pricing. We have two kids and as a mother i truly appreciated her time,patience,and happy energy towards them at all times. Denise made sure to stay in touch at all times and also that we were satisfied while house shopping. It is not an easy process and can be scary but having the right realtor who can provide you with all the support and help needed will make a serious difference and it can truly help an easy journey. Denise did all of that and more. We even encountered some down points with whom we were buying our new house from. She walked the extra mile and made sure we got what we deserved and didn't let them take advantage of us. Couldn't be more satisfied in how everything went. She is truly a go-getter, a true hustler, and the sweetest person you will ever meet in this field.
