My experience with Abby Powell and Dreamtown was simply amazing. Abby might be the hardest working individual that I have ever met. Not one time did I ever reach out to her via phone, text or email and was made to feel that I was interrupting anything or being bothersome. Dreamtown is a team because there was times that someone from her team filled in during a showing or open house. I have to add that I did not feel like the fill in was lacking in knowledge of my property or concerns.

Abby is truly a super star agent. She has all the qualities you want and need. She works hard, is whip smart, has a fantastic knowledge of the area and the inventory in the area. Abby helped us find our first home in Spring 2022, and we’re so glad she did! There are many apps that can help you get appointments or look at pictures- but having Abby at our appointments looking at the houses was what we really needed. 5 stars doesn’t even start to describe how outstanding Abby is. As a second time buyer but first time seller she walked us through every step and took unbelievable care of us. Abby answered our texts at 6:45am through 10:30pm, so we always felt like she was there for us. She did a ton of homework on our area/comps suggested a selling price and we ended up getting 20 offers in one week of listing.

Abby Powell, of Dream Town Realty recently helped me with the purchase of a commercial property for our business. It was a big deal. We've been renting for the last 12 years and it was time for us to have our own building with good exposure and something that was big enough to grow into. The process started at least a year in advance, if not longer ago. Abby took the time to meet with me and consult on what criteria a building to operate our business out of would look like and from that meeting, put together a search of viable properties. Together, we waded through a handful of properties on the NW Side of Chicago. Abby would always show up to the properties for showings on time and with much more inside information than the listings online would entail. And at the end of each showing I always seemed to have a handful of more information I was seeking answers on as part of our due diligence. Abby was always super fast to get the information needed to make a decision and had no problem going and viewing as many properties as needed before we felt comfortable. Fast forward a year plus: Abby finds us the perfect sized building that met all of our criteria complete with an overhead door, office space, warehouse space, on site parking and out door equipment storage space, and street exposure that doesn't get any better with a street sign on Elston Ave. All the boxes were checked. Perfect right? Well, then the attorney review and inspection period started and I know I was not an easy client to work with from that period on. Some big ticket repair items were revealed on the inspection process. And let me tell you, Abby was at each inspection I had on site. Most times asking if she could bring lunch or coffee for me and would be onsite the whole time for support. The big ticket items were nothing neither Abby nor I expected. But it threw a speed bump into the process and I dug my heels in during the negotiations. At the end of the day Abby stood up for me and looked out for my best interests and was able to help negotiate 30% off the list price of the property and we still closed on the original closing date set when the original offer was placed. Abby is well prepared, cool and calm, has a ton of resources and referrals for every aspect of real estate and is super professional. I'm very impressed with her efforts. Stay tuned for the next review I write for Abby. We have our home listed for sale with her in Chicago as well as helping us find a new home outside of Chicago (way outside of Chicago) and she is our agent for both of those transactions as well which is a much more emotional process for my wife and I and Abby is so comforting to work with. A true professional.

I had the pleasure of working with Abby Powell on the sale of my condo in Logan Square. She was absolutely outstanding! She truly immersed herself in the neighborhood getting to know the local scene. She was creative in the way she marketed my condo and even reached out to local hang outs to do cross promoting. Abby was there for every showing, making sure she was there to show the unit and to make sure she received feedback in person. She consistently hosted open houses and even brought some of her own décor to stage the condo. Even my attorney was impressed with how involved Abby remained throughout the entire process; the onset of the offer through attorney’s approval all the way to the closing! Abby crushed it!!

One day I decided i needed to move on with my life and needed my own place. I had no clue what I was doing so i thought i would start by looking at all the available properties in the area i wanted. Abby was the first one to show me the property i was interested in. After she showed me the first place, i gave her all wants and needs and she rolled with it. She took time to show me everything i wanted, whenever i wanted. I gave her my preferences and she tried her hardest to find my exact fit...and she did.
