About Adam
My name is Adam Geuy and I grew up outside of Urbana, OH and I have been around residential construction my entire life. My grandfather owned a construction company that specialized in building custom homes and he passed that company down to my father and uncle and I started working with my dad when I was 10 years old! It's safe to say by now that residential real estate is in my DNA.
After graduating high school I moved to Columbus and attended The Ohio State University. I majored in Strategic Communication and minored in psychology. Utilizing these areas of focus have helped me become a very effective marketer, clear communicator, and talented negotiator.
I loved living in Columbus so much that I chose to stay after I finished school and continue cheering on the Buckeyes in their own back yard. I am also a huge Formula 1 fan, I love to play sand volleyball and go golfing with my friends and family, and lastly, I am a huge trivia buff.
Before my career in Real Estate, I worked in the restaurant industry for 12 years. I knew the restaurant industry wasn't going to be a permanent fit for me but I am incredibly grateful for the skills and lessons I learned while working in that industry. Almost all of those lessons are directly transferable to becoming a great real estate agent. By anticipating someone's needs and finding ways to go above and beyond I was able to deliver 7-star service in a 3-star industry. In restaurants, as with real estate, seeing an issue and working on a solution before it becomes a problem is half the battle. I take a lot of pride in my ability to stay calm and focused on your ideal outcome.
Our motto at NextHome is Humans over Houses and I absolutely take that to heart. Any agent can make a property search, unlock a front door for you, or list your property on the MLS. Instead, I approach every action I take as if I was doing this for myself and I really focus on delivering a service that results in my clients feeling truly heard and understood. I believe in making lasting relationships that result from smart money moves with my clients and promise to always put your best interests, emotional needs, and financial stability first.
