Alan Franco has been a real estate broker in Manhattan since 1993. Alan is the Founder and owner of The Chapin Group, a successful boutique real estate company specializing in corporate relocations for over 25 years. The Chapin group is now part of the Corcoran group forming the Chapin Team at Corcoran.
Alan has a diverse background. After receiving his Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management from Florida International University in Miami, he continued working for AT&T as an Instructor until he was able to retire with a vested pension at the age of 29. He then pursued a successful career in Hotel Management. He managed 4 and 5 star hotels in Miami and New York for several years before doing what he loves to do best ,
Real Estate.
Alan is a caring professional who devotes countless hours to insure that his clients are well taken care of. Alan feels that listening is the most important part of being a successful Real Estate Broker. Listening to the clients needs and desires and not inflicting your own needs in determining how to proceed are crucial. Clients are always made to feel confident that they are in good hands whether they are buying, selling or renting a property. He spent his entire life in service oriented businesses. After living in Manhattan for many years, Alan, returned to his native Long Island. He currently resides in Port Washington, NY with his wife Claire who is the Cantor at Community Synagogue.
He has 3 amazing children, 2 in college and one in law school.
Real Estate is incredible, but Alan's family is the light of his life.
