07/18/2013 - Slmartin - Listed, but didn't sell my Single Family home in 2011 in Boonsboro, MD. Alan and I worked very well together. There were never any surprises or negatives. He did everything he said and was very honest and sincere. I recommend him and was glad I took the opportunity to work with him. He listed our house, and it didn't sell however we pulled it off the market so it wasn't due to anything he did wrong, we just decided to rent it to get an income out of it as it wasn't at that time the best selling market. So no fault of Alan's.

My ratings are based on the following experience: Responsiveness: I live in FL. and we did most everything, by necessity, by phone or e-mail accounting for some frustration! Local Knowledge:The greatest selling point was location, which I pointed out because I knew the area, but it wasn't exploited enough. Negotiation: I felt that since this was not a distress sale or a time sensitive sale we did not press the buyer for more! I would recommend Alan because he really is an excellent all around honest professional representative of the real estate business and will work very hard for the best interest of his client's.

01/15/2016 - Brenda Beard - Bought a Single Family home in 2015 in Thurmont, MD. I very much enjoyed working with Alan. My first time as a home buyer and was very nervous. I sent an email to Re/Max and he answered the email the same day. I was pre-approved the next day and we started looking for homes. Everything he said came true. I heard several horror stories and had my mind set that all those stories would happen to me. But Alan made sure none of those horror stories came true. Everything went very smoothly. 07/09/2015 - Sevi - Bought a Townhouse home in 2015 in Hagerstown, MD. Alan was always available, even on the weekends, answered all our questions and provided tips to help us negotiate a good deal. He also recommended 3rd party services like loan providers, home inspectors, termite inspectors etc. that were spot on and priced competitively. I would like to mention that we've known Alan for over 5 years and even if the first house was not won by our highest bid, we came back to him and successfully purchased the second home. We will use Alan again on our next real estate transaction which might be for a plot of land in PA, since he is also licensed there.

10/22/2013 - RyanFields - Bought a Townhouse home in 2013 in Frederick, MD. We spoke to several different realtors before we found Alan and we knew right away that he was the realtor for us. He was responsive to our many (late night & weekend) phone calls regarding one property or another he had shown us. Out of all the realtors we spoke to he was the most attentive to our needs and listened to what we wanted in a house. Most importantly he helped my wife and I find the perfect first house and walked us through the process every step of the way. It was a seamless process mostly because the help and advice that Alan was able to give us. He was by far the most knowledgeable realtor we spoke to. I would recommend Alan to ANYONE looking to buy or sell a house in the Frederick area...you will be MUCH better off for it!
