Alayna Setter is the Mom of three young men, ages 24, 19, and 15, a 6 year old shepherd mix rescue dog named Oswald, and a three year old rescue Chiweenie named Winky. She and her husband of 25 years, Erik, relocated to the Albuquerque area from Seattle in 2012. She specializes in the north Albuquerque neighborhoods, including the Northeast Heights, Ventana Ranch, and Paradise Hills, and the neighboring city of Rio Rancho. She is a New Mexican by choice and truly loves the land and people here. In the early '90s, she was employed by Seattle Housing Authority, followed by a position at Seattle City Council, and then as a successful online business owner for well over a decade. Her clients included EA Sports, Chevron/Texaco, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, the Knights of Columbus, and PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP, among others. When Alayna and her family moved to New Mexico, she was immediately recruited by Keller Williams Realty in Albuquerque. In February 2016, she switched companies, moving to Realty One of New Mexico. She enjoys working with both sellers and buyers, and has earned her Seller Representative Specialist (SRS) and Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR), and Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE) designations. She's been featured in Albuquerque the Magazine, Realtor Magazine, and the book, The Honest Real Estate Agent. As someone who has worked extensively with military families and is married to a veteran, helping VA loan eligible buyers is another specialty.
