About Alex

Alex Griffin brings deep real estate expertise, local insight, and a highly analytical approach to luxury real estate in the Vail Valley. A Colorado native who grew up visiting Vail and ultimately chose to make it home, Alex offers clients a genuine understanding of the mountain communities he serves. He lives in the Valley with his wife, Suzanne, and their children, and approaches real estate with the same values that guide his life here: thoughtful decision-making, long-term perspective, and a deep appreciation for place.

Alex earned his degree in Real Estate from Colorado State University and began his career in new development sales at The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Vail, where he gained early exposure to high-level luxury transactions and complex development environments. He later served as Vice President and Managing Broker for three years, during which time he helped oversee significant sales volume and guide teams through strategic growth and market shifts.

In 2025, Alex and the Griffin & Gardner Team achieved $108M in sales volume, and Alex was recognized as Realtor of the Year by the Vail Board of Realtors. His leadership within the industry extends well beyond production. Alex has served as President of the Vail Board of Realtors, President of the MLS, and held seats across every major VBR board, including the VBR Foundation. He is also actively involved with local non-profits, reflecting his commitment to the long-term health and vitality of the Vail Valley community.

Known for his process-oriented and data-driven approach, Alex develops strategic, well-considered solutions tailored to each client’s goals. He works with a diverse range of buyers and sellers, from longtime local homeowners to second-home clients from across the country, offering clarity, precision, and steady guidance through every stage of a transaction.
