Alex Mazalatis

Alex studied at the Philip Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland and by mid 2009 had embarked on a new career at one of the premier real estate firms in New York City. This change in career direction proved to be the right move, not only for Alex but for his many satisfied clients. In his first year in real estate, he amassed multiple awards including Top Producer. "For me, it was all about developing a relationship. I want my clients to feel comfortable from the start, knowing they can rely on and trust me to find them their new home. It’s a responsibility I take seriously while having fun at the same time."

Having had such success in the industry, Alex and his brother made the decision to create Maz Group NY. Alex comments as to his reasoning for going out on his own, "I felt it was time to create a company where I could direct the way the business is run. I am always upfront with my clients and make sure I have a detailed knowledge of the market at all times." Alex draws on his incomparable communication skills when working with both renters and buyers. His goal is to make the real estate transaction process seamless and as stress free as possible.

Alex grew up in New Jersey & New York, now residing in the Upper West side. He was a collegiate baseball player receiving a full academic & athletic scholarship and is also a member of Theta Chi Fraternity. Alex enjoys staying fit, live music and working with non-profits.
