Born and raised in Austin, TX, Alex Puryear grew up in the real estate business with her mom Jennifer Puryear's affiliation with RE/MAX Austin Skyline. She learned, at a young age, how to market properties by stuffing fliers, putting out flags, and organizing offices. After graduating from Lake Travis High School in 2012, she went on to graduate from Texas State University with a degree in Communications, class of 2016 . While at Texas State University, she joined Student Association for Campus Activities, planning events from live concerts, Homecoming and River Fest helping new students foster involvement, connection, and development throughout their college journey.
With her leadership skills, she worked in the wedding industry for eight years, first as an intern, transitioning to a front desk person and finally as an account manager for one of the most elite luxury wedding resorts in Dripping Springs. In 2021, she successfully organized 90 weddings and corporate events, priming her for the competitive real estate industry.
While helping with the general contracting on both building her grandparents custom home and her husband's short-term rentals, she renewed her interest in the real estate business. She used her organizational, marketing and sales skills as a licensed associate, closing several transactions her first month.
She's assisted in several complicated luxury home sales, and realizes that whatever the price, a home purchase/sale could be the most amount of money anyone will spend in one sitting. She takes that responsibility seriously. Her goal is to keep every client informed, involved and up-to-date to help everything run smoothly during what is usually a stressful time in their lives.
Through hard work, quality services and transparency, Alex masterfully markets properties through social media, professional staging, photography and well-tested systems put in place by her mentor. Balance, technology and empathy set Alex above the crowd.
