Alexis Thompson

Alexis launched her real estate career after a decade working in state and local government, focused on revitalization of distressed communities, entrepreneurial support programming. Managing a variety of economic development programs, she played a pivotal role in redevelopment and adaptive reuse projects throughout the state.

After managing her own flip projects, she became a licensed agent and by the end of her first year (2015), she received top-producer sales awards from the Richmond Association of Realtors. In her third year of business she achieved the highest sales award category, and establish River Fox Realty as a new boutique brokerage. Her company grew quickly with ambitious, talented agents focused on premier service, sterling ethics, and giving back to the community. Within a few years this elite team ranked in the top 2% of all Richmond Real Estate firms (based on volume) and opened an additional office in Fredericksburg to serve the Northern Virginia Market. With over $1 billion of real estate sold, River Fox Realty continues to evolve. Alexis spearheaded the development of River Fox Lending and a complimentary contracting company, Property Lion to serve clients far beyond the real estate transaction. She continues to give back through various organizations including Habitat for Humanity, Housing Families First, International Rescue Committee, and UpRVA.
