My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Amanda in our search to find the perfect home, and we couldn't be happier. From our very first meeting, Amanda impressed us with her professionalism, dedication, and deep understanding of our needs.

One of the most remarkable aspects of our experience with Amanda was the short timeline we were working with. Despite the pressure, Amanda remained calm and composed, guiding us through every step of the process with expertise and efficiency. She wasted no time in scheduling viewings for us, and we must have seen dozens of houses in just a matter of weeks. Throughout this whirlwind of activity, Amanda remained patient and attentive, always ready to answer our questions and address our concerns. We really felt like we were her main priority and that we would be taken care of during the process.

What truly set Amanda apart, however, was her ability to understand our unique situation. With 2 large dogs and hopefully a growing family on the horizon, finding a home that would accommodate our current family and future plans was very important to us. Amanda not only listened to our needs but also took them to heart, consistently presenting us with options that aligned perfectly with our criteria.

When it came time to negotiate, Amanda proved to be a fierce advocate for our interests. She fought on our behalf, leveraging her knowledge of the market and keen negotiation skills to secure the best possible deal for us. Thanks to her efforts, we were able to purchase the perfect home at the perfect price.

Buying a home is stressful in general, but buying a home in San Diego when inventory is low, demand is high, and interest rates are daily creeping upward is an experience not many people would enjoy. Amanda made this process so much easier than it should have been. She was responsive and available to go see homes, provided useful feedback while we toured homes, and made sure I was informed throughout the process. When I found the home for me, she guided me through the offer process, advocated for me to ensure my offer was as appealing as possible while still being at a price point I was comfortable with, and dealt with my anxiety as the offer review process extended for nearly a week. I do not think my offer would have been selected if not for the work of Amanda and my broker (who was recommended to me by Amanda). During the rush to close, Amanda continued to advocate for me and ensured that closing went as smoothly as possible. She is professional, knowledgeable, and also just generally enjoyable to be around. I cannot recommend Amanda enough and I joke with her that I’m almost tempted to start looking again just for the opportunity to work with her again.

I had the pleasure of working with Amanda Abruzzo on my first home purchase and I could not be more pleased. Having interviewed several realtors, I immediately gravitated to Amanda because she was genuine, transparent, knowledgeable, and confident! Amanda took the time to listen to my parameters and set up a detailed search to find my potential properties in neighborhoods she had scouted and previously sold in. When we found the perfect home, I told her I wanted it and to please do everything in her power to get it for me. Sure enough, she charmed the listing agent, presented a perfectly crafted offer, and delivered on her promise of “one and done.” Her entire team was also very helpful- she connected me with an amazing lender, home inspector, insurance agent, and home warranty rep. OH MY GODS! This amazing woman helped us get our dream home! This was our first time buying a home and I was super nervous not to mention we were doing everything virtual sense we were still at our old duty station. Did that make anything harder for Amanda? NO! she went above and beyond when it came to looking for places and did virtual walk threw with me so that I was still involved in the process of looking for homes. Not only did we get our dream home but we we found and closed in our first week of looking at homes. I don't think we would have had that luck if we went with anyone else. Even after buying our home Amanda was amazing! We wanted to get our home deep cleaned before we moved in and sense we were still in Hawaii at the time Amanda was willing to go let the cleaners in and lock up when she was done.
When you work with Amanda you are not just getting someone to find you a home you are finding someone who is willing to put in the time and effort to make your first time home buying process great and easy even after the whole thing is done.

Amanda helped me purchase my condo in November 2021 in the Hillcrest neighborhood. She was thorough and professional and great to work with. She was also honest and forthright- no games. She managed to stay two steps ahead of me at all times, which is not an easy thing to do. I really appreciated the time she put into finding options for viewings (while keeping all of my asks at top of mind). When I found the condo I wanted, she made closing a breeze and I had the keys in a matter of weeks. My husband and I had always dreamed of buying a home. The market was crazy, we'd already gone through two realtors, had a couple offers shot down, and we were feeling defeated. We stopped by an Open House on our way home one day and came across the realtor doing the showing, Amanda- instant chemistry and a relief!

From that point on, Amanda took charge. She was helpful, thorough, knowledgeable and she truly cared about making our dream come true. She made it feel personal, something our previous realtors didn't do.

We had a hard time communicating with others involved in the transaction but she remained communicative and responsive throughout the whole process. She answered all of our questions, and as first time homebuyers, we had lots of them.

I don't think we could have had a better realtor on our side for such a special purchase. I would recommend her to anyone! We are forever grateful for all of her care and attention especially during the final stressful days of the closing process.
