Looking back on my upbringing, it makes sense that I have found my way to this work. I hail from a small Appalachian town, where relying on neighbors is often a way of life. It's there that I found the beauty in cultivating relationships and welcoming others in with open arms.
My mom was a pillar in our community. Through her grassroots organizing efforts, she often met with members of the community to get to know them and the struggles they were facing. Then, she'd go to bat for them in the halls of the Kentucky State Capital and offices of State Representatives, all along the way fostering lifelong friends who felt more like family.
My dad, on the other hand, inspired my love of homes. I grew up watching him turn run-down properties into beautiful homes -- sometimes as a source of income and often as a helping hand for a neighbor and friend. I've always been amazed at the transformation that's possible with the right care and vision.
The values I learned growing up now influence my approach as a licensed Realtor®. It brings me great joy to help you find a space you want to call home, nurture your own sense of community, and experience warmth and belonging every time you walk through the door.
I understand the nervousness and excitement that come from buying or selling a home, because I’ve experienced them both firsthand. I’m not just here to facilitate transactions but to guide, support, and ensure you feel comfortable every step of the way. Also, don’t be surprised if after we finish, you receive birthday cards for your kids or treats for your furry friend every now and then. As far as I’m concerned, once you’re a client, you’re a friend for life.
