About Amelia
Amelia Weaver has been involved in real estate and the auction business for as long as she can remember. When she was a child in 1997, her father (John Higgins) and Stan Vaught partnered with Bob Parks to open Bob Parks Auction Company. When Amelia wasn’t on her family farm working with her show cattle, she spent her childhood going to auctions and soaking in how it all worked until she was old enough to clerk and cashier. She earned her real estate license at T.R.E.E.S. Inc. after graduating MTSU with a degree in Marketing. She spent over a year in Cleveland, TN, working in real estate before returning home to Cannon
County. Returning home meant returning to Parks Auction, so she decided to become a licensed auctioneer through Kentucky Auction
Academy. In 2022, Amelia earned her broker’s license and served in the role of Managing Broker at the Parks Shelbyville office for 3 years before returning to the Murfreesboro office to be closer to home after having her second child. Amelia is excited to follow in her father’s footsteps and serve her community as a realtor and auctioneer.
