Amy has been an absolute blessing to my family and me. As an active-duty Soldier relocating to the Denver area, our goal was to purchase a home before our arrival to make the transition smoother and Amy made that possible.

My wife and I are in our mid-eighties. We lived in a two-story house on a 5-acre lot in the country for 30 years, and both of us were running into balance problems. Our kids had started haranguing us to move into safer quarters: single-story, closer to medical facilities, and closer to our nearby kids. We realized that what they were suggesting would eventually have to be done. We reluctantly gave in to their demands, and they introduced us to Amy Newman.
Despite unforeseen complications that seemed to plague the search, for the next 3 or so months Amy worked incredibly hard to help us to find a suitable new home and sell our old home.
Some of the problems we encountered: the first place we found needed work, and the contractor who met the HOA’s restrictions would take several months just to start on it. We had to bail. The owner of the second place we found took it off the market just as we tried to make an offer. The HOA has 2 divisions; and for some inexplicable reason, the 2 were engaged in litigation against each other. That caused the lender we had originally selected to delay clearing the loan. Amy found a lender that had successfully dealt with that situation and got them working for us. Those are just some of the problems she solved.
Once we moved into the new home, she put our old residence on the market and had buyers the next day. She continued to guide us to a prompt and successful closing. Without her hard work, we would probably still be in the old house.

2024 review: We had another incredible experience with Amy, this time with the purchase of a new home. Purchasing a new place in Denver while living overseas seemed like a daunting task, but Amy made it incredibly smooth and stress-free. After helping us find the perfect place, Amy helped us negotiate the crazy seller’s market and submit a very competitive bid. Despite receiving another great offer, the seller’s accepted our offer and we were on our way! Since we were overseas, Amy was there as our representative for every aspect of the purchase, including the inspection and the final walk through. She was on top of everything with impeccable organization and communication. Amy was great at keeping us in the loop at every stage, which really put our minds at ease. Thanks to her hard work, the closing happened right on time, which was quite tricky given the short window we were going to be in Denver. Couldn't have asked for a better agent. 2023 review: We cannot express enough gratitude for the outstanding service provided by our real estate agent, Amy Newman, in selling our townhome. We could write a much longer review about how thoroughly impressed we were with Amy’s expertise and guidance, but we will make this more succinct. For the purchase of our new dream home, we thankfully followed Amy’s wise suggestion to tour a home well out of our price range “because you never know what can happen.” Now that home is ours, at a price we could manage, and we are absolutely thrilled. Then Amy went to work for us by selling our old home, and once again, she delivered with unparalleled professionalism, dedication, competence, empathy and patience. Our sale was challenged by listing right into the teeth of the highest mortgage rate climate in 20 years, but Amy and her team guided us through a master class in listing, marketing, staging, negotiating, and ultimately, selling our home. When last minute obstacles arose (thanks pesky old sewer line), Amy was undaunted, and even secured the plumbing team to perform these major repairs all in time for our closing, and at highly competitive pricing. We found Amy by picking up one of her fliers that she posts about monthly statistics for her neighborhood. We are certainly glad that we did. She helped us navigate the crazy Denver real estate market, especially as first time home buyers. We met other agents at open houses before we officially started looking, but we had an instant connection with Amy, and she worked hard to earn our business.

We had lots of questions and Amy was quick with an answer and helped us craft multiple offers that were always competitive. Amy also helped us with locating a local lender by providing a number of referrals and prepped the lenders with our unique financing requirements before we even spoke to them.

She is extremely diligent in researching market comps when you're ready to submit an offer. She doesn't pressure or encourage you to look beyond your stated budget, even if you can qualify for more. She understands what is important to a buyer and tailors the search to those home qualities. She also has a keen eye to point out potential issues that a new buyer might have with the house.

When it came time to submit our offers, she coordinated with the lender to present us as well qualified buyers to the sellers and seller's agent. It takes a strong team of professionals to get to the closing table and Amy is a great person to have on your team. We can't recommend her highly enough!

Amy is a fantastic Real Estate Professional! She walked us through 8 offers in December 2020 and January 2021. She was with us for every step of the home buying process. First we had a neighborhood tour and checked out houses throughout Denver. We were able to narrow down our wants and needs right away and were prepared to make an offer as soon as we found what we were looking for. The market at this time was NOT a buyer's market. Amy helped us write competitive offers - we even got remarks from the seller's agents in several cases that we made a strong offer - but we were outbid on 6 of the 8 offers we made. It was only because Amy had us start this process early (i.e., in November 2020), that we were able to learn how comfortable we were with making offers $25K over list price (and still get outbid!). We finally had an offer accepted on a wonderful little duplex, when our dream home unexpectedly became available in the neighborhood we wanted at a price we could afford. Amy helped us work through terminating the first contract and getting an offer accepted for our dream home - and now we are comfortably living in the house we wanted in the neighborhood we wanted. We have worked with other real estate professionals in the past (and in other states), and Amy is hands-down the best agent we know. She worked so hard to get us in the right home and we know she will work just as hard for all of her clients.

My boyfriend and I recently purchased a home with Amy as our realtor. We cannot express how lucky we are to have worked with her. Amy had an exceptional pulse and understanding of the metro Denver market. She was honest and extremely detailed throughout the entire home-buying process. Amy was an absolute pleasure to work with! We were moving to Denver from the east coast, and we were unable to be in town for pretty much the entire home search. She previewed many homes for us by proxy, alongside family we had that lived in Denver already.
