Amy has been helping buyers and sellers to reach their ownership goals since 2005 with approximately $175+ million in sales in DC, VA and MD selling single homes, townhomes and condominiums. In 2019 she was selected as one of America's Top 100 agents representing only 1% of all active real estate professionals in the US. She has also been chosen by Washingtonian magazine for the last 3 years as one of the top agents in the DMV and recognized by DC Modern Luxury magazine. By listening to her clients and being knowledgeable about market and financing conditions, Amy navigates her clients successfully through the entire buying and selling process and advocates passionately on their behalf every step of the way!
Prior to her career as a home dream maker extraordinaire, Amy had the privilege of working at washingtonpost.com during the advent of the internet age where she headed up public relations and marketing. She also has worked in communications roles at Suited for Change, a non-profit dedicated to helping low-income women prepare for the workforce and the Center for Women’s Business Research, which empowers women business leaders. Amy graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1998 with a BA in English and a BS in Communications.
Amy lives in Arlington, Virginia a.k.a. “The Urban Village.” In her free time, she can be found sipping a chai latte at Northside Social or practicing Pilates and Yoga. She considers “reading” a sport and wishes she had more time for it!
Amy also believes in giving back and a non-profit near and dear to her is Pathways to Housing, a non-profit dedicated to ending homelessness through housing first. https://pathwaystohousingdc.org
She also donates to the Animal Welfare League of Arlington www.awla.org where she adopted most loved furry members, Midge and Abigail (aka Abby).
