Amy Weed

Amy is a an Attorney-Broker, a Certified Divorce Specialist ®, and Senior Vice President with the Donahue Maley & Burns Team, based in the Chestnut Hill office. Amy graduated from Boston College Law School in 1990. She is an active member of local community and civic organizations in Brookline, Boston and Newton, and has made her home in Newton and Chestnut Hill since 1999. Although Amy's real estate business is primarily in Brookline and Newton, she has worked with clients buying and selling homes in over fifty communities in eastern Massachusetts.

Prior to joining Compass, Amy had fourteen years of transactional experience as an investment attorney at John Hancock in Boston, negotiating loans and work-outs worldwide, in addition to six years working with families as the director of admissions at Newton Montessori School and Kingsley Montessori School in Boston. Amy is an avid gardener, and can be spotted with her labrador, Flapjack, on weekly broker tours, or walking in her Chestnut Hill neighborhood.

To better serve her clients in transition, Amy earned a Certified Divorce Specialist ® designation. Amy was named one of the Top Women Leaders in Boston in 2025 by Women We Admire. Her attention to detail, can-do approach, negotiation savvy, and in-depth knowledge of local public and independent schools give her clients an advantage, whether moving locally or relocating from out-of-state or overseas.
