Andrea was recommended to us by her fellow Abio agent Linnette (who we found on Yelp). After working together with her for almost 9 months (! felt like an eternity), my husband and I just closed on a home in Oakland, and we are over the moon.

Throughout the process, Andrea was extremely diligent, responsive and communicative. Buying a home in the Bay Area is an enormous purchase, financially and emotionally, and Andrea did a lot of emotional hand holding and coaching as well.

Full disclosure: Andrea pushed us at every turn to go above our original budget and "get uncomfortable" in order to be competitive in the current cutthroat real estate landscape. Advice you need is not always the advice you want to hear, but we bought a house and are very happy in the end.

Andrea also has great relationships with many other agents and I credit that with us getting into contract on our house. With buyers getting so many competitive offers, it helps to have an agent that stands out to other agents as someone who is good to work with.

Lastly, Andrea is super dedicated and detailed. She burned the midnight oil to help us write back to back offers, and on every offer, she went through every contract and disclosure packet in fine detail with us to make sure we knew what we were signing.

Overall we had a great experience and appreciated all her help and hard work.

Andrea was incredibly responsive, patient, and straight forward with her guidance (a trait I value highly). While I ended up working with a family friend and long time realtor in the end, she was definitely someone I felt comfortable and confident in working with. I feel bad for taking her time, but am so grateful for the guidance she provided during the early stages of the process.

Andrea is amazing! I am a first time home buyer and I can't stress enough how good she was. Not only is she very responsive and communicative but she helped me with all of the below:

1. Andrea helped me set realistic expectations for my budget and what I was looking for before I put in an offer. This allowed us to move really fast and know what we could bid on and where we could increase our bids before things got stressful.

2. She wasn't pushy - I saw a place I loved right off the bat and instead of pressuring me to apply suggested a see a few other places and then decide, even though offers were due in less than a week. Spoiler - I saw the other places, didn't like them as much, and so within 5 hours (!!!) she was able to put together my offer right under the deadline for the first place. It would have been a lot easier for her to just pressure me to apply to give herself more time but she really put me first. Plus our offer got accepted! She walked me through all the next steps and what to expect. It was a relief to have someone know exactly what to do the whole time.

3. She suggested a mortgage broker who was able to get me a 21 day close, which was a key reason my bid was suggested.

Lastly she's just a really nice person who knows the Bay Area inside and out, and is overall a total pleasure to work with.

Working with Andrea was a breath of fresh air, I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to purchase a home. To give you some background, my fiancee and I were looking for a home for over 6 months, after not receiving the support we needed from our previous realtor, we decided to make a change. We started searching for a new realtor and were referred to Andrea by a friend, after their successful home buying experience. We interviewed several realtors and decided to go with Andrea - I am genuinely elated that we found her.

My fiancee and I were first-time home buyers, we needed a realtor that could help us navigate the complicated Oakland housing market and explain all of the nuances about buying a home. Andrea, was extremely knowledgeable and patient during the whole process, we never felt pressured to submit an offer on a house (which was extremely relieving). For the two offers that we submitted with Andrea, she reviewed the disclosures with a fine-tooth comb, to verify there were no serious issues with the house. When submitting offers we felt confident in our decision and knew Andrea had our best interest in mind. Although Andrea was working with several clients in tandem with us, she made us feel like we were her only clients. We never needed to ask her twice for reports or disclosures, when she said she would do something she followed through. When our offer was accepted and the documents were signed Andrea was still there by our side to make sure we were fully supported. The first day in our new home the gas would not turn on, we called PG&E but they were closed due to it being Sunday. Not knowing what to do we reached out to Andrea, who went above and beyond to resolve the issue.

It is the small details that go a long way and speaks volumes about Andrea's character. She is not the average realtor but more of an advisor. During the whole home buying process, Andrea was there to support us. If you want a realtor that has your best interest in mind and will be there for you even after your offer is accepted, I would highly recommend Andrea.

Where to begin. We met Andrea (friend recommended after their successful home buying) on a Friday over Zoom, looked at homes that next day, put an offer on Wednesday, and offer was accepted on Thursday! This was after 6 months of stress and frustration. Andrea was not only professional, knowledgeable, organized, and accountable but also kind, punctual, funny, and genuine. She addressed what was important to us as first time home owners - communication, strategy, and personal attention. We never felt pressured or that we lacked information which gave us confidence while we reviewed disclosures and discussed offer terms. She went above and beyond to make sure we were getting the home we wanted and understood the details throughout the way. We couldn't have asked for more in an agent and comrade through navigating the chaotic Bay Area market. I've already recommended her to anyone looking to buy and will continue to do so!

We were very happy to work with Andrea as our real estate agent.

She stuck with us through several years of sporadic bouts of real estate shopping as we tried to find the right property for us. She always dealt with us with courtesy, responsiveness, candor and joviality. As we are first-time buyers, she took the time to educate us on the market and the intricacies of offers, escrow and ownership. Her recommendations for lenders were also on point, with our mortgage officer doing a fantastic job.

Most importantly, she was there when the chips were down. For our winning bid, she worked with us to put together an offer within hours of seeing our soon-to-be home. This was critical as we found out there was a competing offer that was expiring shortly.

Escrow, while heartburn-inducing by nature, went off without a hitch. Andrea made sure we knew the importance of responding to our lender's requests ASAP in order to allow the rest of the process to proceed. She also was proactive in giving updates and responding to queries and concerns.

I should also note that in the wake of our offer's acceptance, we recommended Andrea to a friend. This friend went under contract not long after.

My husband and I worked with Andrea to buy our very first property in San Francisco, where we always have dreamed of settling down. We ended up in a very lovely condo in Cow Hollow that checks every box on our list with a very reasonable budget. The whole process only took us several days more than one month, during a pandemic -- it is seamless and unexpectedly smooth!
Andrea is very professional and attentive to her clients. She answers your questions and responds to your requests in a very responsive manner over any communication platform such as on phone, text messages, emails, which is amazing for eager homebuyers, and especially for people like us who care about the punctuality of people we do business with a lot. Punctuality and attentiveness is very important in the home buying process because you have to purchase property in a competitive market that has people making multiple bids on a property, and the sellers can be unpredictable when starting the contract process with the buyer, and things can get tricky fast. There’s also a concern about property quality and risk as well when buying a property with inherent problems. Andrea has a lot of experience in all these and it shows. We had interviewed about 5 agents and we could immediately tell that Andrea stood out above the crowd with her experience and knowledge. We didn’t know how much knowledge mattered until we had the full homebuyers experience with Andrea, in which she helped us weigh the risks in property issues/problems, contract protection and consideration through various contingencies, buyer strategy, and the current market behavior.
In addition to Andrea’s skill set, she is a relief since she never pushes us and always provides reasonable suggestions that fits our needs the best. As a first time homebuyer and so we were cautious about meeting pushy agents or being pressured. For example, our first property we tried to bid was complicated because it was a very popular condo with very attractive features, and it also had multiple buyers bidding against each other, but it also had a lot of problems and history in the property inspection reports. Andrea helped us to weigh the pros and the cons, research all the property details, and gave us sound legal advice for a contract given our preferences, and she kept our best interest in mind the entire time. This property had a tight selling deadline, and Andrea helped us to see the property right away and then to put together a complete offer to be ready the next day, within hours right before the deadline.
We can see now how important having the right agent is very important and can make the world of difference in winning or losing the best property opportunities. We would recommend Andrea with no reservation for anyone who is looking for an agent. We believe we have a very high bar for choosing our agent, and we interviewed each agent we contacted with before we chose Andrea, and we have no regret till the end!
