Anne’s career in Austin real estate spans four decades. Anne began her career in Austin by obtaining her Real Estate Salesman’s license after graduating from The University of Texas in 1977, and in 1982 she obtained her Real Estate Broker’s license. She is a proud native Texan and an Austinite since 1973. In 1985, she co-founded Wheeler McCarroll Realtors which was one of Austin’s most respected brokerages for the next ten years while she served as the designated broker for the firm. Only months after the formation of Gottesman Windham Real Estate in 2020, now Gottesman Residential Real Estate, Anne became an Associate Broker with Gottesman.

Anne’s track record speaks for itself. Her long history of success is a result of a principle-based work ethic, sincere effort, wise choices, and experience-based guidance. She is always seeking innovative and effective ways to better serve her clients through continuing education, training, and networking. Anne has established a solid reputation among her clients, colleagues, and other professionals in the real estate industry. Twice she has been elected by her peers to represent them as a Director of the Austin Board of Realtors and as a Director of the Austin and Central Texas Information Systems (multiple listing service). With over 13000 members of the Austin Board of Realtors, this volunteer Director’s position comes with a responsibility to her fellow agents and brokers to guide the organization today and into the future. During the last few years, the Austin Board of Realtors has become nationally recognized as an industry leader.
