Being out of state buyers, we were looking for someone responsive and with great market knowledge. Anthony simply exceeded our expectations on all aspects. Prior to us coming to town, Anthony provided us with a great spectrum of listings for us to review. Once we met and started touring properties, we quickly realized that we needed to shift our focus into different parts of the city to find a property that would better serve our needs, lucky Anthony had anticipated this scenario and had prepared other properties for us to see, both over and under our budget to that we could better understand the locale market. Ultimately we were able to find what we were looking for and closed the deal that same day. The after service was also top notch, Anthony helped us with all necessary paperwork, he made the process supper easy.

After 18 months of searching for our home (yes, you read that correctly), Tony helped us close on the house of our dreams! He is a part of our family now.

He was always available to answer our calls and never balked at driving way out of our original search zone to look at potential homes. He was invested in finding our perfect place just as much as we were. Like another reviewer mentioned, he always made us feel Like we were his only clients. While we will miss seeing Tony nearly every weekend, thanks to him we are now the proud owners of our very first home.

We loved working with Anthony. He lives in La Jolla and works in La Jolla, so he knows the village like the back of his hand. There were several offers on the property we finally purchased, but I don’t think we would’ve gotten it if it hadn’t been for Anthony.

He knows how to drive a good bargain. He’s honest, has a good sense of humor, works hard and was always available. He acted like we were his only clients! We highly recommend Anthony Halstead!

We recently purchased AND sold a duplex with Anthony Halstead and both transactions were amazing. Unlike most agents, Anthony always answers his phone and is always available to answer questions. His responsiveness gave me confidence he had a handle on the transaction and he always kept me up to speed. Another highlight I should mention is his knowledge of the market. When we sold our duplex we had a number in mind for what it was worth and Anthony told us it was worth a lot more due to some other comparables in the area that were transpiring. We took his advice and he listed the property and had multiple offers shortly afterwards over asking price! We couldn't be happier!

Anthony was amazing to work with. He was compassionate to my situation (selling my grandmother's house as her trustee), knew what suggestions to make, helped me pick the buyer that offered the best package, and kept the buyers on their timeline. He was easy to get in touch with and quick to reply to all my (many, many) texts and phone calls, did all the heavy lifting, and I couldn't be more grateful to his knowledge and experience. Hands down, I would work with him again. He will be my only recommendation from here on out, and I will be back when I'm ready to sell and buy again.
