About Ben

Ben Wanetick dove into real estate in 2007. With a keen sense for risk assessment, a 5% down payment, and a strong work ethic, he flipped a duplex in a marginal neighborhood for a 17-times return. Since that time, he has invested in over 30 properties, including single- and multifamily homes, commercial real estate, and syndications. As a licensed broker, he now guides others toward achieving similar financial success. His 2021 sales topped $15 million, and in 2022, he founded Beach Line Properties, a boutique firm that specializes in helping its clients tap into California’s lucrative property market.
Ben was born and raised in the Bay Area. He completed his undergraduate studies at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and earned his MBA from Pepperdine University. A true Golden State native, he has an intimate knowledge of and a unique appreciation for the California Coast. After studying engineering as an undergrad, Ben spent years overseas as an aerospace engineer designing fighter jets. He eventually transitioned into aerospace sales, selling similar fighter jets to the ones he designed. The sharp negotiation skills he honed in sales have shaped Ben’s instincts as a broker and served him to produce lucrative deals in less-than-perfect circumstances.
Ben is not afraid to roll up his sleeves and put in the work necessary to achieve the best outcomes for his clients. Beyond his astute evaluation of each property and its potential, Ben forms both personal and professional local connections to gain an understanding of the community’s full scope before pursuing a venture. He’s the guy who knocks on doors, gets to know people, and learns the inside scoop. This is how he has achieved past successes, including the transformation of a $50,000 investment into a $1 million-plus profit in less than a year.
Ben treats his clients’ investments as his own. He dedicates the time and effort needed to deliver a tailored experience that is profitable for his clients today and also educates them about the right strategies to invest in tomorrow. Ben sincerely enjoys helping others achieve financial independence. After work, he continues to help people escape the cycle of poverty by holding lectures on financial literacy and volunteering with People Assisting the Homeless (PATH).
In his free time, Ben enjoys playing with his daughter, Emma, and hiking with his wife, Lauren, and dogs, Bali and George. He is an advanced scuba diver, and he loves seeking adventure across the beautiful, diverse California terrain. A cultivated world traveler who has visited more than 50 countries, he knows that no place quite compares to Ventura, Santa Barbara, and the Central Coast.
