It is never an easy process to find a house, but Ben was the perfect partner who guided us all the way through with the greatest of ease including introducing us to a great lender and lawyer. They and their team are extremely hard-working, reliable, trustworthy, responsive, knowledgeable, patient, fun to work with, and made the entire experience as seamless and stress-free as possible. I always felt they had my best interest at heart, and that the guidance they offered was that of a friend, not a business trying to turn a profit. They could have easily talked me into a number of purchases early on in the process to save themselves some time (and likely earn a higher commission), but instead they were extremely patient and understanding of all of my concerns and hesitations.
They eventually helped me find my perfect home for an incredible price. Ben was even able to negotiate a 10 percent price reduction AFTER the contract was signed! They produced mazing marketing materials and lined up a great selection of buyers both via an open-house as well as individual appointments. My apartment went 'live' over a weekend and by the following Tuesday we had 3 offers for the apartment, all of which were above asking price which I was absolutely thrilled with. Matthew, Benjamin and team were exceptional from the moment I contacted them. I needed help with a COOP on the USW that had a death resulting in a difficult estate sale. They were attentive and responsive throughout the whole process, and even recommended a contractor that did an excellent job. There were so many barriers to getting this sale done and they conquered all of them. I had an offer within 4 months of listing due to their spot on pricing. The contract was signed the day before the Covid lockdown. And even with a difficult coop board and buyer, we managed to close during lockdown. We worked with Ben and Matthew on 3 deals (2 sales and 1 purchase) in the past 10 months. They have a good pulse on the market, provided us with excellent guidance, and were very attentive. With the purchase of our new place, I was expecting the search to take a couple of months. They understood exactly what we wanted. We looked at 20+ apts in 2 days...almost each one checked all of our boxes. We settled on a great loft, on a quiet cobblestone block with lots of charm. With the sales of our apartments, we had multiple offers on each. I am very pleased with Ben & Matthew and would work with them again.

Until we hired Ben and Matt, we couldn't sell our UES apartment. They took a property with a problem and sold it for above asking price within 10 days of taking over the listing. They worked hard for us, and were always in contact and very responsive to us. They made the process relatively painless. I don't recommend very easily, but I would recommend Ben and Matt unsolicited and without reservation. I am so, so happy we found them.
