Beth Lane is an Associate Broker with Metropolitan Real Estate with almost 30 years of experience in the greater Richmond area. Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, Beth graduated from the Collegiate School in 1979 and received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1984 from the Medical College of Virginia. Even though real estate is her passion, she maintains an active registered nursing license in the State of Virginia. This background allows for a better understanding of both the emotional, as well as the business aspects of any real estate transaction. Representation of buyers, sellers and investors in residential real estate is the predominance of her business, but Beth also specializes in new construction by working with land developers and high-end custom home builders. Beth continues to be recognized as a top producer with her knowledge of current market conditions, attention to detail, professionalism, and an exceptionally competitive nature for getting the job done.
Beth has served on the Board of Realtors at the Richmond Association of Realtors, and presently serves on the Ethics Committees which allows her to keep abreast of the latest developments that impact the real estate industry. In 2019, Beth had the privilege of being the President of the Westwood Club and spearheaded Phase 2 Outdoor Renovation which included 2 new pools, a pickle ball court and an all-new outdoor dining space.
At the heart of Beth’s world is her family. She is the mother of five children, Will, Madelyn, Joe, Libby, and Jack. Her grandchildren, Ellie, Hunter, Caden, Hadley, and sweet baby Tilley can be found at Bebe’s house often. Her favorite pastimes include tennis including USTA competition, church and simply gathering with friends!
