Betsy Laughlin

An avid gardener, Betsy Laughlin brings the same care and intentionality to her real estate practice that she brings to her garden. As a trusted Broker Associate with LIV Sotheby’s International Realty in Vail, Betsy believes that thriving communities—like gardens—flourish through thoughtful tending. She cultivates long-term relationships with her clients through attentive listening, consistent communication, and strategic follow-through, guiding buyers and sellers confidently toward successful outcomes.

Betsy began her career with State Farm Insurance, helping clients protect their most important assets—a foundation that naturally evolved into a passion for real estate. Since joining LIV Sotheby’s, she has been involved in more than $125 million in sales transactions.

A respected leader within the REALTOR® community, Betsy has held numerous roles with the Vail Board of REALTORS® (VBR), including MLS Chair (2017–2018), Board Chair (2019), and REALTOR® of the Year (2020). She currently serves on the VBR Finance and Government Affairs Committees. At the state level, she represented mountain communities as the 2020–2021 Mountain District Chair for the Colorado Association of REALTORS®. Beyond her real estate leadership, Betsy also serves her community as an elected Director for the EagleVail Metropolitan District, advocating for policies that strengthen homeownership and enhance local quality of life.

Betsy’s roots in the Eagle River Valley run deep. Since moving from Louisville, Kentucky, in 1996 with her husband, Ken, she has raised two daughters and embraced every aspect of mountain living—from skiing and hockey to hiking and boating. A dedicated community builder, Betsy also serves on the EagleVail Community Garden Committee, helping sustain a thriving neighborhood hub for growth, health, and connection. She approaches every real estate transaction with that same integrity and care, guiding clients through one of life’s most important financial decisions with experience, trust, and heart.
