Bill stumbled into the glamorous world of real estate in 1986, a move only slightly less dramatic than his short-lived (and mercifully undocumented) attempt at a synchronized swimming career at the University of Nebraska Omaha. Turns out, Real Estate and land use economics was a tad drier than water ballet, but it stuck. He launched his career at the legendary CBS Real Estate Company (no, not that CBS, though we're sure he could sell you a timeshare on 'Murder, She Wrote').
Since then, Bill's been collecting awards like some people collect stamps – impressive, right? He snagged the OABR Outstanding Service Award in 2011, the Nebraska REALTORS® Association version in 2013, and then, in a particularly good year, the Omaha Area Board of REALTORS® named him REALTOR of the Year AND Outstanding Ambassador in 2022 (clearly, he's good at sharing his real estate love). Not content with just those accolades, in 2022 Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Ambassador Real Estate Awarded him the J Carol Leisey Award, and in 2024 he was awarded the Crystal Achievement Award by the Omaha board – we suspect it's less about actual crystals and more about sparkling service.
Looking ahead, Bill is slated to become President of the Nebraska REALTORS Association in 2027, which we assume involves a crown and possibly a gavel shaped like a tiny house. Clearly, Bill isn't just in real estate; real estate is in his soul (and probably his search history).
Over his career, Bill has helped well over 1000 clients buy or sell a home. When he's not busy matching folks with their dream abodes (or investment properties, because he knows stuff) Bill can be found on the golf course (probably looking for his ball), at the pool hall (likely strategizing his next shot), or embarrassing himself for your amusement with a local improv comedy troupe. Just try not to heckle him during his next improv show – he's sensitive.
