About Blake

Blake is passionate about representing buyers only, knowing that her role eliminates conflicts of interest. In fact, she decided to become a buyer's agent after buying her home with The Buyer's Agent over a decade ago. "It made sense to hire an agent that would represent only my interests and not that of the seller too," said Blake.

Blake earned the Rookie of the Year award her first year in real estate and continues to be a sales and savings leader in the company. She prides herself on educating her clients about the market and helping them secure their house of choice at a great price. "I can rest easy at night knowing I have represented my client's interest throughout their home buying experience. Clients never have to question my motives. It also allows me to be completely honest and frank with my clients about every piece of property and situation. I feel it is important to educate clients about the marketplace so they can make the right choice for their family" she said.

Whether it is a listed property or a for sale by owner, Blake is genuine about making sure her clients find the right fit. "Many other agents question why we would only represent one side because it means half the commission opportunities. For me, it is an easy decision knowing I can feel great about the job I did for my clients. At the end of the day, I treat my clients as I would want to be treated, and I think they appreciate that."

A North Carolina native, Blake moved to the NC mountains in 2003, and is thankful to call Asheville home. Asheville offers everything she wants in a town from the music to the local beer scene to great restaurants. The Blue Ridge Parkway offers unlimited hiking, trail runs, and climbing. With her children and golden/border collie mix, she and her husband enjoy hiking and running in Bent Creek, the many festivals in and around town, WNC Nature Center, and Biltmore's trails and farm animal area. She also enjoys a day hike at Max Patch and a good soak in the Hot Springs natural spa.
