About Brent

Brent Sprenkle joined Northmarq in March 2022 as Managing Director – Investment Sales based in El Segundo, CA. He has two decades of commercial real estate experience specializing in the Greater Los Angeles multifamily market and was a top-10 broker for four years at Berkadia, where he worked previously. He has sold more than $2 billion in multifamily assets comprised of well over 12,000 units and has been ranked by CoStar as the top agent in the market.

As an expert in the industry, Brent can easily assess a client’s entire real estate portfolio helping to achieve their objectives of expansion, consolidation, disposition and exchanges. He specializes in private capital investors but has a long track record working with institutional investors as well. In addition to his experience at Berkadia, he also spent ten years with Sperry Van Ness (SVN) as an apartment broker and analyst.

Brent has documented his expertise in best-selling business book, Billion Dollar Portfolio: How to Create a Real Estate Empire.

Prior to his work in multifamily real estate, he spent time as an engineer building satellites at Hughes following his education in Mechanical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University. Brent Lives in Manhattan Beach, California and volunteers with the Manhattan Beach Wine Auction and is active with cycling, running, snowboarding, traveling, coffee and wine.
