Catalina and her partner at Intero helped me with short selling my Condo in 2011 (this review is far overdue). Their knowledge of short sales is great! It happened fairly quickly, they kept me fully informed throughout the process, and their negotiation skills must be excellent because the process was quick and painless (in dealing with the bank) without any residual problems after the short sale. Catalina and her partner Suzanne helped us through every part of the process of buying our first home, turning what could have been a very nerve-racking experience into a great joy, including being there for us well after the purchase was concluded. In April 2013, my wife and I got very troubling news that the house we had occupied with our 3 (soon to be 4) kids for a couple years was going to be sold and that we had 60 days to leave. Rentals of the type of single family home that we needed had become too expensive and hard to find in our area, so we decided to become first time buyers. At first in seemed like we were attempting a nearly impossible task. We were trying buy a house for the first time, in what seemed to be quickly becoming a seller's market, with only about a month and a half left to find a place, put together financing, make a winner offer, close escrow, and move in. Catalina and Suzanne was indispensable in helping us get it together. They became immediate resources in helping us evaluate listings near us and referred us to an excellent mortgage broker who helped us get approved very quickly with a great rate. We were fortunate enough to fall in love with the first open house we visited. She and Suzanne worked 24/7 with us to craft a winning offer (and counteroffer) that allowed us to buy the house we wanted within our budget. They then guided us every step of the way though the maze of contingencies and paperwork to get us to the light at the end of closing, with even a couple of weeks to spare before we had to move! All of the above would have already been enough to give the highest possible recommendation, but Catalina and Suzanne did not stop there. A few months after we moved in, we experienced some rather inconvenient and expensive plumbing difficulties. Although they had already fulfilled their commitment to us, they jumped into action when we described the situation to them. Catalina put her knowledge of real estate law to work in helping us realize that we had a good case, then helped us find a superb real estate attorney, do all of the relevant fact-finding, and even attended meetings with us, all in an effort to resolve the situation satisfactory way for us. Now after many months of effort, we are extremely pleased with how the situation is being settled and very grateful for all their help. I haven't had experience with any other real estate agents, but I very much doubt that most others would go above and beyond for clients in the way that Catalina and Suzanne did.

If you think that been a realtor agent is easy; is because Catalina is not your agent. She is amazing! I had used other realtors in the pass and they were basically just a business card. My previous experiences with other agents is that they don’t even bother to look for houses or fight for you. That’s not Catalina, she works really hard to be sure you are happy! She help us buying our dream home in this crazy sellers’ market! She did everything and make our life so much easy. And I mean EVERYTHING! I can speak for my family and myself in saying that Catalina and Suzanne make a terrific team! I went to them needing to sell my home that needed quite a bit of TLC as a result of years of not being taken care of. Catalina was patient and listened to our situation THEN made recommendations based off of the information given. Both Catalina and Suzanne were not pushy, and were willing to have multiple meetings with us to allow us to make a well informed decision on how to move forward. Now that we got that step out of the way, we needed to go on the market and prepare for the open house. They could not have been more patient. They made recommendations on how to get the property ready so that we can make the most of our open house and get the most offers. They were also flexible with all our schedules (we were still living there) so that it wasn't too invasive. In the end, Catalina worked very hard to get us the best offer possible. They spent many hours negotiating on our behalf and the process was very straight forward. I will also note that they were able to get a lot of the paperwork done electronically which worked well with everyone's busy schedule. Catalina is extremely knowledgeable when it comes down to all the fine details. Without her handling the short sale I was trying to purchase I can honestly say I would have never had a chance at getting the home. I was amazed at how well someone could handle dealing with and controlling the outcome of a short sale when it was owned by one of the biggest and most difficult banks to work with. Catalina was up front with my from the very beginning on what to expect from dealing with a short sale and prepped me mentally for the battle ahead.
