About Cheryl
Cheryl was born and raised in Northern Ontario, Canada and immigrated to the United States in 1994. She was drawn initially to the east coast of Florida as a physical therapist and instantly fell in love with the climate and lifestyle. Cheryl has lived in Martin County for almost 20 years now and has raised her two daughters here with her husband Ken.
Cheryl’s love of real estate kicked off when she and her husband bought a vacant lot in Martin County and designed and built their first home together. Since then, she has developed a passion for interior design and architecture and is frequently asked by friends and family for design and remodeling advice. This love led to a career change from healthcare to real estate.
Prior to real estate, Cheryl earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy where she developed extensive experience in direct patient care, management, and leadership. She was active in her State Professional Association and served multiple terms in leadership roles.
Cheryl is actively involved in the community and has been the Head Coach of the local competitive synchronized swimming team for over 15 years. Prior to coaching, she was a competitive synchronized swimmer herself and was MVP of her varsity college team. She earned National Developmental Coach of the Year in 2016 and South Zone Coach of the Year in 2019.
Cheryl’s strong work ethic, organizational skills, and eye for property potential make her an ideal realtor. She is thorough and thoughtful, and with her vast experience working with both senior citizens and youth she has the tools and understanding to exceed the needs of both buyers and sellers alike.
