Cheryl is the absolute best! My great-aunt lost her husband in January. She is 69 and disabled. I knew I would need to get her out of her 4 bedroom 2 bathroom house. The problem is I live in Columbus, OH and she is in Joliet, IL.

I asked a realtor friend in Columbus if she knew anyone in IL. She did not, but said she would check her realtor networking sites. After doing a fair amount of research, she sent me Cheryl’s contact information. She said after looking at her profile, reading reviews and she reached out to her. She said it was like speaking to a longtime friend. She said Cheryl would be glad to help.

After I reached out to Cheryl myself, I felt the same way. What a wonderful person. She was able to visit with us while I was in town. Cheryl was professional, kind and patient with my aunt. She explained the process and ensured my aunt understood the paperwork.

Each time I reached out to Cheryl during the process she was responsive and efficient.

Our timeline for getting the house on the market was quick, the listing was well written the interest was plentiful.

We cannot thank Cheryl enough for her hard work and dedication to her craft.

Cheryl was recommended to my wife and I by a good friend; as we were looking to sell our home in Plainfield. Not knowing what to expect as we were selling our first home...Cheryl showed up and put our minds at ease. Cheryl walked us through the process; told us what to expect; put us in contact with a lender; assisted us in prepping the home; put us in contact with lawyers; helped us stage the home, assisted in getting appraiser and so much more...Cheryl made the process effortless. She even found us temporary housing while our new home was being built. Cheryl goes above and beyond with her attention to detail and she is honest in her assessments. Our home sold in 3 days!!!!!

Impressive from the day we met her, Mrs. Cheryl Thomas was personable, came prepared, explained the Baird Warner marketing support advantage, and focused more on the house potential and plans than on warm fuzzies. Cheryl was not neutral; Cheryl wanted our business! We chose her based on her enthusiasm and credentials. It wasn’t till much later we learned, she never mentioned, her previous sales success.

Most agents are probably nice and know how to navigate the waters. Here are some differences in Cheryl:
1. Cheryl Thomas seems to know her business area. We agreed with the price she suggested as good for us, since she showed us comps and how she arrived at the figure. It sold quickly.
2.When Cheryl suggested changes to the house, she wanted us to get quality work done at reasonable prices within our financial means. Cheryl’s ethics were such that while representing us, she also wanted to make sure the house was worth the price we asked.
3.You will feel safe with Cheryl. Cheryl takes the lead, and keeps the process moving forward, even talking to lawyers, agents or anyone else you feel uncomfortable dealing with. Cheryl even gave us referrals that helped us save money on radon mitigation and carpet purchase /installation and even on an electrician.
4.You will always feel respected by Cheryl. Two attributes that shocked me were Cheryl’s ACCESSIBILITY and quick RESPONSIVENESS! Good day/Bad day, I couldn’t detect. Cheryl’s professionalism only allowed one personal disclosure, perhaps written on yellow caution tape; Cheryl told me she is an extremely patient person. Based on my frequent communication with Cheryl, I would agree.
5.You think you have your house ready to show, then Cheryl will add some class to it by using her items to stage your house. Maybe I live a sheltered life, but I was blown away by how she made the house look. We never had such class ourselves
I am the son of the homeowner and was Cheryl’s main contact. Cheryl knew I was moving out of her business area. Cheryl also knew the homeowner was moving to an assisted living facility. Yes, Cheryl probably expected to be reviewed, but kept working hard for us knowing there would probably be no personal referrals coming from us. Cheryl found and met with an electrician when we couldn’t, put up carbon monoxide detectors and resolved unexpected issues quick as they arose. We felt like we were Cheryl’s only customer. In fact, Cheryl often seemed so focused that Trump might refer to her “Serious Cheryl.” Incidentally, we received strong guidance and leadership and interest from this agent, and we didn’t even have the biggest house around.

Baird & Warner, Cheryl Thomas is the best thing you can do for yourself. Humble Cheryl would probably say many of her colleagues are equally good, but to go with Baird & Warner. Isn’t it about time you made things easy on yourself? Get the ball rolling in the right direction with an agent who seems too competent to drop it! Try calling her today. I bet she will answer!

Cheryl did an amazing job selling our home. When I had stopped by the house in the morning it was crisp and clean and I thought ready to go. I stopped by later that day and to my surprise Cheryl had staged the house. It looked amazing!!! She knew exactly what to put and where and gave it that extra welcoming touch.
