Chris grew up in the Midwest in a small town north of Milwaukee called Mequon. He graduated from Claremont McKenna College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Math and Economics. While at CMC, he was heavily involved in leadership as Student Body President and played on the golf and tennis teams. After college, Chris worked for a couple years on Wall Street as an analyst at Merrill Lynch for Fortune 500 clients before getting into mortgage banking in Pasadena. He fell in love with Southern California Real Estate while setting mortgage rates nationally at First Interstate Mortgage Company. His responsibilities included hedging the entire mortgage pipeline for the bank by managing fallout risk with a variety of hedging instruments. After spending over five years on the quantitative side of lending, Chris got an amazing opportunity in equities with a local Wall Street Mogul and billionaire in Institutional Sales and Marketing. After 10 years and his demonstrated investment performance, Chris was entrusted to run a portion of the firm’s capital utilizing the approach he had mastered. After much success, Chris left the firm and began pursuing his dream in South Bay Real Estate. Chris got his start in South Bay Real Estate at Shorewood in Manhattan Beach. As he grew his business, he was further inspired by becoming a father to a beautiful boy named Jayden. After years at the Shorewood Highland office, Chris left to join the elite boutique - Engel & Völkers South Bay. Chris is very detail oriented and keeps a careful watch on pricing trends in the South Bay Real Estate Market. He has very strong work ethic and believes in the highest integrity as he wants to make a genuinely positive difference in the lives of his clients while maintaining a strong reputation.
