A Lake Country resident since 2010, Chris Hewatt is Co-Founder, Partner and real estate agent of Alliance Home and Land Group. With over 21 years of real estate experience, Chris prides himself on the knowledge and experience he provides his clients whether it comes to buying or selling.

Chris began his real estate career in 2001. His primary focus through the years was sales of developer property, resort communities, and second homes. This focus took him around the country to communities in White Plains, GA, Columbia, SC, Park City, UT, St. Simons Island, GA, Cashiers, NC, Rutherfordton, NC and Melrose, MT. He has been fortunate to train with members of the industry who are known throughout the country for their impressive careers and knowledge. Prior to real estate, Chris had an accomplished sales career in the beverage industry with Empire Distributors in both Georgia and North Carolina.

Chris and his wife Marybeth reside on Lake Oconee and have three children, Cody of Athens, GA, Connor currently attending the University of Georgia and Jackson currently attending Gatewood Schools. Their boys are sports fanatics which keeps them all busy between golf, football, lacrosse, baseball, and wrestling. Their family is completed by three dogs – Dixie (Yellow Labrador), Harley (German Shorthaired Pointer) and the newest member, Oakley (English Pointer) a rescue from Morgan County Humane Society.

Chris and Marybeth volunteer countless hours to Gatewood Schools lending their time and talent to help improve the school and campus for today’s students and for generations to come. When not at their son’s sporting events, they enjoy taking sunset cruises on the lake and attending local events. Chris is an avid fisherman so you can usually find him out on his bass boat when the sun is coming up!
