She and her husband have raised three children, a project still in progress; she enjoys caring for her family, traveling, camping, and reading. If she had more time, she would spend it fly-fishing.

Clare's other interests include helping to raise funds for her family's non-profit educational project in Sierra Leone, West Africa.
